The idea for this fundraiser was born when a local musician, Adrianne Chapman, was seeking a way to contribute to the community during this unprecedented time. With the help of her musical friends, she wrote and recorded the song "See You Through" to help promote the objective of the fundraiser. Loaves & Fishes is a volunteer run organization in Sydney, Nova Scotia. It offers good meals, foodstuffs to go and even clothing on a daily basis to those in need, 365 days a year. It relies on monetary and food donations, which along with assistance from Feed Nova Scotia, helps them dish up more than 44,000 meals every year. More than ever, they require donations to ensure the increased amount of people in need are fed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
